Who We Are

North Alabama Specialty Hospital is a uniquely designed healthcare facility that specializes in acute medical care.  With 31 licensed acute care telemonitored, North Alabama Specialty Hospital is a leading provider of healthcare in our community.   

Our interdisciplinary team is led by physicians who specialize in the treatment of complex conditions. Additional team members include RN case management, 24-hour hospital nursing care, 24-hour respiratory care, certified wound care nurse, ventilator weaning, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech and language pathologist, dietician, and pharmacist.  

Our physicians specialize in the medical and rehabilitative treatment of stroke, neurological and orthopedic conditions, amputation and joint replacement, traumatic injuries including complex wounds, acute and exacerbation of chronic heart/lung/kidney disease, and pulmonary and infectious disease.  Our goal is to provide treatment at its highest level by incorporating advanced practice with a personalized plan of care to maximize your outcome and help you achieve your highest goal.
