Stroke rehabilitation requires a multidisciplinary approach to treatment designed to address your specific needs.  You can expect to receive at least 3 hours of intensive therapies 5 days a week provided by physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech and language pathology which will motivate, inspire, and restore confidence in achieving your goals. North Alabama Specialty Hospital’s inpatient gym is equipped to help restore your ability to perform activities of daily living such as grooming, dressing, eating, ambulation, and much more.  We want you to achieve your unique goals following a stroke so that you can safely return home with the necessary skills to move forward.
